You've tried the rest, now try the best! Since 1997 Copper Mountain's Tubing Hill has been thrilling Summit County residents and visitors as the county's original Tubing venue. Located In the East Village near the base of the Super B chairlift (and close to Copper Station), the tubing hill is a great team building activity. Learn more about the Tubing Hill here.
Kick-start that learning curve, build confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie of skiing or riding with others of your ability. All levels of skiers & riders, including first-timers, will have a blast learning to do it right in our private lessons as well as full and half-day group lessons.
Copper's Tucker Mountain Snowcat Access is as close to a backcountry, big-mountain experience as you'll find in-bounds at any resort. During the winter season, snowcats run from 10 am - 1:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and Tucker Mountain closes at 2:00 pm. Tucker Mountain is open for hiking most days, weather dependent. Cat operations, terrain openings and conditions may vary and are subject to change. Oh yea...first come, first served.
Enjoy the hospitality of our Resort Ambassadors as they help you discover the beauty of snow-covered meadows, pine & spruce forest and a pristine mountain setting on one of our daily snowshoe tours. Snowshoe tours are weather/snow/terrain dependent. Spaces are limited.
Come and “meet the mountain” with our Resort Ambassadors on one of our free mountain orientation tours, offered twice daily. Ideal for first-time visitors but just as enjoyable for our returning guests, our tours highlight Copper's unique naturally-divided terrain. Share our Resort Ambassadors' passion & knowledge for the mountain and the resort including history, wildlife, natural science and fun facts as you discover each of the diverse and distinctive mountain zones Copper has to offer. The tours generally last around two to two and one half hours.
A classic winter activity that is truly fun for all ages. Ice skating is free and skate rentals are available. Located on West Lake in the Center Village.
